Yesterday our friends and family came over to help us celebrate his big day!! We are so lucky to have so many wonderful, supportive people in our lives who truly cherish our kiddos (and spoil them rotten). It was a great afternoon spent playing and eating (the best part of parties right?!). The boys had so much fun with everyone and I can't tell you how much I enjoy having everyone together! My favorite times.
Before the guests arrived, I snuck in a mini photo shoot with Payton as he was playing with his balloons. He really loved his balloons!
But these quiet moments were soon gone and the party arrived! Our house was packed with lots of crazy kids, who had so much fun!
The adults joined in the fun too! Mama was getting her love after making the 12+ hour trip for the party! We were so excited she and Geri Ann, and Gma Shirley could make the LONG and very quick trip! So thankful my family is so willing to travel to be part of these moments with my kids.
The boys really enjoyed having young G to get down in the floor and wrestle with them. She had her hands full though!
But in all the madness, there were a few calm moments. Like this one with Little Pay and Grammie. Hat's on and ready to GO!!
And of course the quietest moments came when the kids were eating! And they did that well!
This picture cracks me up! Maddux is GETTING his spaghetti! And Ari is really amazed!
After dinner there was some more entertainment by the guest of honor....
And then it was time for CAKE!! He was adorable as we sang Happy Birthday, he danced in his seat, watched in awe, and tried to figured out what was going on!
And when allowed to DIG IN....he wasn't really sure what to do. But he very quickly figured it out!
Everyone loved Grammie's delicious cupcakes! Especially Ari, who had 2!! Her face is so cute in this picture! BUSTED!
And we ended the evening with presents. Little Man got so many fun toys and lots of really cute clothes!
And even a COW.......so cute!
It was truly a great night with our family and friends. But as if Mommy wasn't feeling sad enough with my baby turning 1, Aidan had to push me over the edge by reaching a new milestone himself...
He lost his 1st tooth!!!! Yes that's right, this 4 YEAR OLD, is one tooth less and as you can see by this great picture his other bottom tooth will soon follow! Can't believe he's already losing teeth. I am really wishing for a pause button today, to just keep my babies right where they are! They are growing up way too fast!
